Johan Holmquist has joined Kastell as a senior associate. Johan was previously with the Swedish Competition Authority, where he was responsible for the surveillance of public undertakings, and the enforcement of the rules preventing anti-competitive sales activities by public undertakings. Johan, who has previous experience as a senior associate at another law firm, is also a trained judge and has served, inter alia, at the Patent and Market Court of Appeal at the Svea Court of Appeal, and at Nyköping District Court. In addition to his law degree from Stockholm University, Johan has a master’s degree (LL.M) in competition law from New York University, where he also served as a research assistant.
