Catarina Rivero Lira

Catarina has over ten years’ experience in commercial dispute resolution. She has worked both at a boutique law firm and, most recently, at a large international law firm. She has also served as a law clerk at the Nacka District Court.

She represents Swedish and international clients before courts, and in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. In addition to acting as counsel in arbitrations, she has served as administrative secretary to highly regarded arbitrators in several proceedings. In 2026, she is completing the Arbitration Training Programme organised by the Swedish Arbitration Association (SAA) in cooperation with the SCC Arbitration Institute.

Catarina’s expertise spans multiple sectors, including banking and finance, real estate, and construction. Her experience includes disputes concerning licence agreements, investment agreements, M&A transactions, construction projects, and challenges to arbitral awards.
