Dispute Resolution

Christoffer specialises in commercial dispute resolution, with a particular focus on international arbitration. He combines experience from leading arbitral institutions and private practice, which gives him an invaluable perspective on how complex arbitrations are initiated, administered, and ultimately decided. He represents clients in domestic and international arbitral proceedings and before courts.

Before joining Kastell, Christoffer worked at a large international law firm and held senior legal and leadership roles at two of the world’s leading arbitral institutions. He also served as a law clerk at Attunda District Court.

As Legal Counsel at the SCC Arbitration Institute (SCC) and later as Deputy Registrar of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), he was responsible for overseeing the administration of hundreds of arbitrations across a wide range of sectors and industries.

During his time at SCC and DIAC, Christoffer worked closely with arbitral tribunals, counsel, and parties on procedural and strategic issues arising throughout the lifecycle of arbitral proceedings. He also contributed to the development of both institutions and their services. At the SCC, he served on the Rules Revision Committee, which was responsible for the 2023 SCC Arbitration Rules. As a member of DIAC’s leadership team, he contributed to the work that led to DIAC’s inclusion on the White List in the Global Arbitration Review’s Guide to Regional Arbitration.

Christoffer is frequently invited to speak on international arbitration and commercial dispute resolution, and has participated in more than 50 panels and events worldwide. He has also published several articles on international arbitration and institutional practice.
