Jakob is a member of Kastell’s dispute resolution practice. He represents clients in domestic and international proceedings, before courts and in arbitration. Jakob handles commercial disputes across a wide range of legal areas, and has particular expertise in insurance, professional liability, post-M&A, and contractual disputes generally.
In addition to his role as counsel and advisor, Jakob conducts research. Jakob has published numerous articles in Sweden’s leading law reviews, mainly concerning insurance law (interpretation and permissibility of insuring clauses) and contract law (in particular concerning duty of notification and other passivity-related issues).
Jakob is a member of the Network for Insurance Law Research and has completed a clerkship at the Stockholm District Court.
