Carl has worked in commercial dispute resolution since 2007, acting as counsel in Swedish and international court and arbitration proceedings. Although Carl handles all types of disputes, he specialises in disputes regarding professional liability, mainly on the defendant side.

Few lawyers in Sweden have equivalent experience of successfully litigating professional liability issues, and Carl has acted as counsel in several of the largest claims against auditors during the last decade. Carl is very familiar with the rules applicable to the auditing industry, and has comprehensive insight and understanding of the work undertaken by auditors. Carl is also regularly instructed on other matters relating to auditing firms, such as disciplinary cases at the Swedish Inspectorate of Auditors, disputes regarding partnership agreements, and handling of trade secrets. In addition, Carl has extensive experience of acting as counsel for other professionals, such as accounting consultants, tax advisors, lawyers, board members, real estate agents and patent consultants.

Carl also has many years of experience in advising both contracting authorities and suppliers on public procurement and has acted as counsel in a large number of review procedures, as well as procurement-related damages and contract disputes.
